Dr. Michael Gawronski studied Physics at the RWTH Aachen, Forschungszentrum Jülich and Kyoto University (Japan). He started his business career in Japan in the Instrumentation Industry where he developed a keen interest in LEAN and Operational Excellence. In 2013 after 16 years of experience in various leadership positions in General Management, Business Development and Manufacturing he joined LEONI as Vice President of the Business Unit Fiber Optics. Since 2018 he is responsible as Vice President for the LEONI Business Segment Enterprise & Industrial Projects comprising of the four Business Units Fiber Optics, Data Communications, Telecommunication Systems and Industrial Projects. His goal is to develop the organisation in the aspects of strategy, stable lean processes and manufacturing footprint.
