Currently, Emanuela serves as Senior Director of Enterprise Business Excellence at Royal Philips Healthcare in Amsterdam. Since stepping into this role in 2023, they have been working alongside a talented team to enhance business processes and drive performance across different regions. She established the “Simplicity” Office, aimed at reaching productivity goals for shareholders, and has contributed to evolving the company's operational model, including the deployment of cloud solutions with Gen AI.

Prior to joining Philips, Emanuela gained valuable experience at McKinsey & Company in Milan, where they led client engagements across Fortune 100 companies and public sector bodies. Emanuela holds a Doctorate in Neuroscience from MIT, in collaboration with the FMI Novartis Research Foundation and the University of Basel. Beyond her professional achievements, Emanuela is deeply committed to development, serving as a guest lecturer and mentor, and contributing to industry publications. She lives in Amsterdam and is mother of two spirited children and an angora rabbit.
