
Beata Magdalena Krehel is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in the railway manufacturing industry. She builds high-performing, engaged teams and has shaped Alstom’s trajectory through her expertise in General Management, Project Management, and Procurement & Supply Chain. Her leadership is centered on achieving ambitious operational targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. She drives continuous improvement, while actively fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and dialogue.
Beata Krehel is currently serving as Site Managing Director at Alstom Bautzen in Saxony, Germany. Since 2024, she has been leading the Rolling Stock manufacturing site both strategically and operationally, managing over 1,000 employees and an annual production output of approximately 400 vehicles. Beata Krehel oversees the site's operational performance across delivery, cost, and quality, while driving long-term transformation initiatives that position the facility for sustainable growth and competitiveness in the railway manufacturing sector.
Prior to this, Beata held the position of Project Director for the DB Traxx Portfolio at Alstom Mannheim and Kassel, where, for two years, she managed a €1 billion high-criticality locomotive project portfolio. Her role included full profit and loss responsibility, strategic and financial oversight, and customer relations. She led cross-functional teams, improved product reliability by nearly fourfold, and re-established customer trust in challenging delivery environments, successfully delivering the agreed scope and stabilizing the program.
