Cristina is the Operational Excellence Director at AAK, responsible for establishing an operational excellence framework across Europe. She has extensive experience, having led lean transformations and managed operational excellence at multiple Covestro sites. Cristina holds a 2022 Master Black Belt certification from the Lean Institute. Her continuous improvement journey began at Eastman Chemical Company in 2004 as a Green Belt, advancing to a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2008. She is also a certified LEGO Serious Play practitioner, using this method to help teams create their visions. Cristina earned an MSc in Process Technology and Management with distinction from the University of Strathclyde. She is passionate about guiding management teams in realizing their continuous improvement goals and empowering individuals to enhance their own processes.
